Operating Area:
– Drivers on this local job will operate within 300 miles of Van Buren, OH.

Job Description:
– Deliver products from the distribution center to stores in Western PA, MI, IN, and OH
– Drivers will also make vendor load pick-ups that deliver back to the RDC in Van Buren & 3PL backhauls
– Miles can be generated either from longer local runs or multi-stop local runs
– Pick-up and deliver non-company backhauls following outbound store deliveries
– No touch freight
– 85% drop/hook
– 8-11 stops per week on average

Shift Details:
– Schedule: Monday – Friday… Saturday or Sunday work is required on a rotating basis if there are not enough volunteers. Year-round rotation is once every 3 weeks.
– There is also an option for the driver to work Sunday – Thursday
– Start time: 1800
– Shift: 10 – 14 hour shift
– Driver PTO: Immediately (1.5 hours per week), 6th Anniversary (2.3hours per week), 19th Anniversary (3 hours per week) until maximum accrual is reached
– Will work all holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Trailer Type:
– Box Trailer 48, Box Trailer 53

Additional Details:
– Hazmat required within 90 days – Driver is reimbursed
– Trucks will have driver-facing cameras
– Truck needs to remain at the account during time off
– Slip seating between day and night
– Drivers are required to work on other accounts if work is slow.

Pay Rate:
– $0.67 per mile

– 1800

Avg Yearly Salary:
– $71,750.00 – $75,000.00

Qualifications:

  • 6 months of tractor-trailer experience
  • live within a 50-mile radius of Van Buren OH
  • clean enough driving record, no recent serious violations
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment hair follicle drug test.
