Shift Details:
– Schedule: Monday – Friday and Saturday or Sunday work is required on a rotating basis. Year round rotation is once every 3 weeks.
– Start times: 0200-0600 – Start time will be determined by manager after hire and will remain consistent
– Shift: 10 – 14 hours
– Driver PTO: Immediately (1.5 hours per week), 6th Anniversary (2.3hours per week), 19th Anniversary (3 hours per week) until maximum accrual is reached
– Will work all holidays except Thanksgiving and Christmas – (may be on the road that morning coming home but will be off)

Job Description:
We are looking for a Class A CDL driver to join our team. As a driver, you will be responsible for delivering products from the distribution center to stores in NY, PA, MI, IN, IL and OH. The deliveries include vendor load pick-ups that deliver back to the RDC in Van Buren & 3PL backhauls. Detroit and Cleveland deliveries are required, and 80% of deliveries will be transported to Detroit and/or Cleveland. Drivers will be required to pick-up and deliver non-company backhauls following outbound store deliveries. No touch freight, and 70% of the deliveries are drop/hook. The average miles driven per week are between 1800-2400 miles. Hazmat certification is required within 90 days of hire. The trucks are equipped with driver-facing cameras. Drivers are required to work on other accounts if work is slow. Drivers who live over 50 miles from the distribution center can take the truck home.

Qualifications:

  • 6 months of tractor-trailer experience
