Accounting Manager

Job description:

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager, responsible for certain general accounting, and financial reporting functions.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee an accounting staff of 2-3 people
  • Oversee the month-end close
  • Prepare monthly closing journal entries and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare monthly HLBV tax equity accounting journal entries
  • Issueof external financial reports, including annual audited and monthly/quarterly unaudited financial statements under US GAAP
  • Coordinate audit support and external auditors inquiries related to financial statements audits and group reporting package review
  • Assess internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
  • Assist with the migration to SAP
  • Support local andgroup accounting with ad-hoc internal and external requests related to financial information, business/Merger & Acquisitions support

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA is preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 4 yearsof relevant financial and business experience required
  • Must have good analytical skills
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
  • Experience with Peoplesoft and SAP preferred
  • Able to interact effectively across organizational boundaries to achieve goals and meet deadlines
  • MS Office required
