Accounting Manager
Job description:
Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager, responsible for certain general accounting, and financial reporting functions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee an accounting staff of 2-3 people
- Oversee the month-end close
- Prepare monthly closing journal entries and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
- Prepare monthly HLBV tax equity accounting journal entries
- Issueof external financial reports, including annual audited and monthly/quarterly unaudited financial statements under US GAAP
- Coordinate audit support and external auditors inquiries related to financial statements audits and group reporting package review
- Assess internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
- Assist with the migration to SAP
- Support local andgroup accounting with ad-hoc internal and external requests related to financial information, business/Merger & Acquisitions support
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance
- CPA is preferred but not required
- Minimum of 4 yearsof relevant financial and business experience required
- Must have good analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS
- Experience with Peoplesoft and SAP preferred
- Able to interact effectively across organizational boundaries to achieve goals and meet deadlines
- MS Office required
